Sports Injuries

Various physical injuries occur during sports activities. Some are mild while the others are severe. But whatever the severity, it is always best to know how to conduct first aid once these injuries happen. A consultation with a doctor should immediately follow while physical therapy should eventually be made to minimize, if not eliminate, pain in the affected parts of the body.

Among the most common sports injuries are tennis elbow, sprained ankle, shin splints, hamstring strain, heel pain and Achilles tendonitis. Find out their causes and the steps that need to be done to treat and prevent them. Keep in mind that  prevention is still better than cure.
