Diet and Nutrition
In order to be in optimum health, you not only need to exercise regularly and steer clear away from vices such as smoking and drinking, you must make sure that the food that goes into your mouth are not only of the right quantity, but should contain the right amount (and kinds) of nutrients that are good for you. Contrary to popular belief, watching one’s diet is not only for those who are overweight and need to lose weight; nor is nutrition only for those who are confined in the hospital. Watching your diet and having proper nutrition is important at all stages of one’s life. Admittedly, there are times (when one is ill, recuperating from an illness, pregnant, etc) when one must pay extra attention to these but generally, good diet should be maintained at all times.
